Steam, extraction and conditioning for every surface you touch. The service that makes a car feel new again from the driver seat.
One vehicle, three to four hours, every interior surface. Priced at $225 for a standard car or SUV.
Standard car or SUV. Heavy pet hair, smoke odor, mold or biological spills are quoted separately and always before work starts.
The difference between a car wash vacuum and an interior detail is extraction, steam and time.
Carpets and cloth seats are shampooed and the dirty water is pulled back out, rather than being pushed deeper into the padding.
Steam lifts grease and grime out of vents, seams and textured plastic where a cloth simply cannot reach.
Leather is cleaned with a pH appropriate product and conditioned, which is what keeps bolsters from cracking in Carolina heat.
We clean what is causing the smell instead of spraying over it. Air fresheners are a symptom, not a solution.
Cup holders, seat rails, door jambs, the gap between console and seat. The places you notice every day and never get to.
Interior glass is cleaned after everything else, so the film that off gasses from cleaning products does not end up back on it.
Personal items out, mats out, and a walk through with you on anything you specifically want addressed.
Full vacuum and compressed air through the vents and seams, so we are not turning loose dirt into mud.
Steam on hard surfaces, extraction on carpets and cloth, dedicated cleaner and conditioner on leather.
Plastics dressed to a satin finish, glass cleaned last, and the cabin left with the windows cracked to dry.
Interior detailing is the deep cleaning of a vehicle cabin, well beyond a vacuum. The service includes hot water extraction of carpets and cloth seats, steam cleaning of hard surfaces, cleaning and conditioning of leather, and detailed work on vents, seams, door jambs and glass.
An interior detail is $225 for a standard car or SUV. Heavy pet hair, smoke odor, mold or a biological spill takes additional time and is quoted separately. You will hear that number before any work begins.
Often, but not always, and we will be honest with you about which. Smoke residue settles into the headliner, carpet padding and the ventilation system. We clean every reachable surface and treat the vents. Heavy long term smoking sometimes needs an ozone treatment and occasionally the smell never fully leaves the headliner.
Three to six hours with the windows cracked, longer in humid weather. Extraction removes most of the moisture, but carpet padding holds some. We recommend leaving the windows down for the rest of the day if the vehicle is parked somewhere secure and dry.
We clean around and under them, and we will wipe the shell. We do not remove or dismantle child seats, because reinstalling them incorrectly is a safety risk. If you take the seat out before we arrive we will clean the area underneath properly.
Very carefully, and only where necessary. Headliner fabric is glued to a foam backing and over wetting it causes permanent sagging. We spot clean marks on a headliner rather than saturating it, and we will tell you if a stain is not safely removable.
Most food, drink and dirt stains come out with extraction. Dye transfer from new denim, ink, and anything that has been heat set by sun through a window is much harder and sometimes permanent. Send a photo when you book and we will give you a realistic expectation.
