Asheville vehicles face a set of conditions the rest of the Upstate does not. Winter road treatment is the big one. Salt and brine are corrosive, they collect in wheel wells, seams and the underbody, and they keep working long after the road is dry. A thorough decontamination wash in early spring, before the salt has a whole summer to sit, is the single most valuable thing an Asheville owner can book.
Steep grades and gravel shoulders throw a lot more debris at lower panels, rocker sills and the front bumper than flat interstate driving does. That produces rock chips and a sandblasted look on leading edges over time. Detailing cannot undo a rock chip, but keeping the surface clean and protected slows the corrosion that starts at the chip edge, which is what actually turns a chip into rust.
Asheville is cooler and damper than Spartanburg, and vehicles parked under tree cover in the mountains hold moisture. That shows up as mildew in carpets, musty ventilation systems and green film on trim and window seals. Yes. Asheville is the northern end of our service area, reached up I-26. Because it is further from our base than the rest of our ring, we group Asheville bookings onto the same days rather than making single trips. If you can be flexible on which day, you will usually get seen sooner.
Asheville is inside our stated service area and we do not surcharge the published prices for standard bookings. If your address is well outside the city, call first and we will either confirm it is covered or tell you honestly that it is beyond our range rather than quoting and cancelling later.

Our exterior detail includes iron fallout removal and a clay treatment, which is what actually lifts the residue rather than just rinsing the surface.
Usually yes, and it takes a proper interior detail rather than an air freshener. Hot water extraction pulls moisture and residue out of carpet padding, and steam treats the hard surfaces. Damp that has been there for a long time occasionally needs a second visit, and we will tell you upfront if we think that is the case.
No. Detailing cleans, corrects and protects, but a rock chip is missing paint and only touch up paint fills it. What detailing does do is keep the chip clean and protected, which slows the corrosion that starts at the exposed edge. If you have a lot of chips on the front end, mention it and we will point you at what actually helps.
More than for our South Carolina areas, simply because we batch the trips. Give us a week or two where you can, and tell us any days that do not work for you. Ceramic coating and multi stage correction need more notice again, because they take a full day or longer and need covered space.
